LARGE FORMAT Floyd Co-ferment Syrah and Viognier 2024

Floyd is the name of our 1960's Airstream trailer. Ben lived in this trailer for 5 years while wrenching bikes! Piper thought the floral nose on the wine mixed with the spicy texture and palate reminded her of the 60's and 70's culture. 

Vineyard Notes
Les Collines Vineyard. Walla Walla Valley AVA. This vineyard is a stunning representation of Washington. Farmed with a low input philosphy and a focus on environmental impact this vineyard always delivers the goods. The soil is mainly deep windblown loess soil brought in from the glacial period. This vineyard is farmed with the same values Ben and Piper carry with them from their own Estate vineyards through to all their adventures! Both Viognier and Syrah come from Les Collines Vineyard. 

Production Notes

Aged 12 months in neutral oak. 35% whole cluster syrah topped with 1 ton of Viognier while fermenting. All pressed together.
